Welling holds a B.S. in Psychology and a M.A. in Organizational Leadership with over 25 years’ experience in Human Resources, serving as a strategic business partner focused on employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, diversity and inclusion, talent development, and employee engagement.

Biography

Welling is passionate about creating innovative people solutions that inspire collaboration and growth. Developing teams with a servant leadership mindset that prioritizes well-being and agility ensuring the organization possesses the people, skills, and capabilities to meet the goals and execute the mission. As an HR professional in various industries such as healthcare, federal and local governments, software engineering, public media and commercial real estate, she has decreased turnover, increased morale and created cultures of engagement and inclusion. When she isn’t keeping up to date on all things HR, you will find her hiking one of the many trails in the Smoky Mountains with her husband of 30 years.
