Endowment gifts can be designated for specific funding priorities, such as student scholarships or faculty research, or they can be unrestricted to use as a resource for the college’s current priorities. Last year, through the generosity of alumni and friends, the College of Nursing awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships. Scholarship support opens a door of opportunity to tomorrow’s Vol Nurse and we need more nurses!

Chancellor Donde Plowman has challenged the college’s alumni and friends to raise faculty support. New gifts and new five-year pledges beginning at $100,000 to establish endowments supporting faculty salaries will receive the immediate endowment income from the Office of the Chancellor before the endowment is fully funded. Create an immediate impact by choosing to support faculty.
