Responsibilities

Johnson is responsible for developing critical operational and financial processes, and initiatives essential to creating a sustainable college business model under the new BAM structure and in alignment with the University of Tennessee’s mission. This position must provide exceptional financial and operational leadership. Reporting directly to the Dean, the EADF & COO is responsible for setting the strategic plan and leading the college’s implementation of all financial and administrative functions.

Biography

Johnson has served in higher education for over fourteen years in various financial and administrative leadership roles. During his time in higher education, he has served on multiple committees addressing areas that include, revenue generation, strategic planning, operational efficiency, accreditation review, executive leadership, and F&A work groups. Johnson obtained certification as a Strategic HR Business Partner in 2018, to enhance his professional development in long-term HR strategies and partnership in his leadership roles.
