Responsibilities

Perry currently serves as the administrative assistant on the College of Nursing Graduate Programs team with over four years of experience working in higher education. Perry is committed to facilitating seamless operations within the Graduate Programs; Main projects include managing and sharing academic files efficiently, refining Graduate Program processes, and creating a student-centric environment. She provides crucial support to the Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs and can be reached for any meeting requests involving the Assistant Dean. Perry is the primary point of contact for prospective graduate applicants, incoming and current graduate students, as well as graduate faculty. She also facilitates doctoral on-site events, coordinates the admissions process, supports faculty requests for desk copies, and provides support to both the Graduate Advisory Council and Graduate Curriculum Committee. Perry is also the liaison between the Graduate School staff and College of Nursing Graduate Programs for admissions, student forms, and graduation-related matters.

Biography

Beyond her professional life, Perry shares her expertise and passion through coaching Colorguard at a local high school, further demonstrating her commitment to education and personal growth. She also enjoys time outdoors gardening or hiking alongside her husband and their lively 5-year-old goldendoodle.
