Biography

Amanda Harper is a board-certified Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) with 18 years of healthcare experience. Harper earned her PNP certificate and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Nursing. She also holds a Masters of Nursing Education and a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Tennessee Nurses Association, and the Gamma Chi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau. Harper currently teaches in the primary care PNP program and DNP courses at UT. Her area of scholarly interest is adolescent mental health.
