Biography

Ike Keller began his journey with a Bachelor’s in Marine Science and Biology from the University of Tampa and an Associate in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. His strong academic foundation is complemented by hands-on experience in field research, data analysis, and experimental design.
Currently, Keller serves as a Simulation Operations IT Specialist in the College of Nursing at the University of Tennessee. In this critical role, Keller applies his extensive technical expertise to enhance the educational experiences of nursing students. He ensures the seamless operation of sophisticated simulation equipment and technologies that are integral to modern nursing education.
Keller’s responsibilities include managing and maintaining simulation hardware and software, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the fidelity of simulated clinical scenarios. By creating realistic and immersive learning environments, Keller helps bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This hands-on experience is invaluable for nursing students as they prepare to face real-world clinical challenges.
Keller has been married to his beautiful wife (and favorite nurse) Katie Keller, for 15 years and have 2 amazing children Elliott and Finley. Overall, Keller believes that simulation technology is an invaluable tool in nursing education, providing students with the skills and confidence they need to excel in their careers.
