Biography

Dr. Bailey earned a PhD in Educational Psychology and Counselling and a Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Additionally, she received a Bachelors of Science double majoring in both Biology and Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.

Currently, Dr. Bailey teaches in both the Accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing program and the Traditional Bachelors of Science in Nursing program. Her areas of interest in teaching and research are clinical education, educational technology, and simulation. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau Gamma Chi chapter and is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator.

Additionally, Dr. Bailey works as a consultant with Helen Ross McNabb as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner and is President-elect for Sigma Theta Tau Gamma Chi chapter. Dr. Bailey is currently serving as the faculty assembly chair for the College of Nursing.
