Biography
April Snell holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Tennessee, along with a Master of Education in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is board certified as both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner. In addition, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Snell brings a diverse and integrative approach to mental health care. In addition to her role as a faculty member at UT, she maintains a private clinical practice where she specializes in addressing psychiatric and hormonal dysfunction through evidence-based, holistic care.
She resides in the Knoxville area with her husband and their Cane Corso, Kaos. In her free time, Snell enjoys spending time on the lake, hiking, and traveling.
