Jonathan Wheeler is a Simulation Operations Specialist with the College of Nursing program, where he plays a pivotal role in supporting the integration of cutting-edge simulation technology to enhance the educational experience for nursing students. With over 20 years of deep passion for technology, Wheeler brings a wealth of knowledge to the field, ensuring that each simulation scenario is executed smoothly, providing students with realistic and impactful learning opportunities.
Holding a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree, Wheeler combines a strong academic foundation with practical expertise in technology integration. His work involves coordinating the technical aspects of simulation environments, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring optimal operation of simulations for our nursing students.
Wheeler’s commitment to advancing nursing education through technology stems from a long-standing interest in innovation, making him a key contributor to the nursing program’s success in preparing future healthcare professionals. Wheeler has been married to his wife (and favorite nurse!) Staci, for 10 years, and has a strong love and respect for the field of nursing.
