The University of Tennessee, College of Nursing will be celebrating the closing of its 50th Anniversary in February 2023, with the 50th Anniversary Gala. To recognize this anniversary, fifty awardees will be named this summer and honored at the gala. Prior recipients of the Sylvia E. Hart Distinguished Alumni and Fabulous 40 Awardees will be recognized at the event but are not eligible for consideration in these nominations.
Applications are now open for the 50th Anniversary Alumni Awards, recognizing outstanding College of Nursing alumni. Apply today or nominate a fellow Vol who makes a difference in the lives of patients, students, organizations, and/or the community. Categories for these awards include:
Clinical Excellence
Recognizing those who continue to excel in both in-patient and out-patient practice by providing the highest standard of care.
Philanthropic/Humanitarian
Recognizing those making a difference within their community, and beyond, by utilizing their knowledge with the mission for better healthcare for all.
Innovation
Recognizing those who work in out-of-the-box practices, with adaptable solutions, and/or those who have applied research findings in their day-to-day patient care through the utilization of evidence-based practice.
Emerging Leaders
Recognizing Vol Nurses with less than ten years of practice in their nursing field.
Research & Scholarship
Recognizing those who have devoted their career to conducting and promoting research in a certain field.
