Updates and Information on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

This page will be updated frequently with new information pertaining to the College of Nursing operations.

    • OIT’s call volume is high right now. If you need to contact OIT for a non-urgent matter, we suggest you use the OIT contact form on their website (the Write option at the top of their site or This will automatically create a ticket in their system and you’ll be in the queue for assistance.
  • ExamSoft 24/7 Faculty Assistance #: 888-792-3926

-Remote Assistance: CON IT now has access to Bomgar, OIT’s remote assistance tool. This will allow us to view your screen and assist you with issues at home.

-Zoom Pro accounts: everyone (faculty and staff) should check and make sure they have a Zoom Pro account. To check, open the Zoom program and click on your initials in the top right corner of the screen. The resulting dropdown window will either have Licensed or Pro or Basic next to your name. If says Licensed or Pro, there’s nothing you need to do. If it says Basic, contact OIT through their web form ( and request a Pro account.

-ExamSoft Support: Exam support will be accomplished remotely. Reach out to Damion if you have exam issues. He will be “on call” at least 15 minutes before and after the start of each exam. You, and your students, can also reach Examsoft at 866-429-8889, option 3 (available 24/7). Faculty-only line: 888-792-3926

-Create a Digital Signature: You may need to sign documents digitally in the coming weeks. Here is a document to assist with creating a digital signature – Create A Handwritten Signature – If you do not have a scanner, you can use a phone or tablet to create the signature and email it to yourself.

Normal procurement process (ORF) continues.  If you need an item shipped to your home, please include that information in the ORF.  Appropriate items to have shipped would be home office supplies such as printer ink, printer paper, etc.  The ORF Form is located on the CON F&A website under Forms.

Non-exempt employees will have regular hourly hours entered daily by Laura.  If you have deviations from your normal working schedule email Laura and Lindsay at the close of the day.

Equipment Checkout Forms – 3/23/2020

CON IT is trying to keep track of items that have been taken home to use during this time. This is done using an Equipment Checkout Form. You should receive an email from or if you have items with this form filled out asking you to sign. If you took home IT related items (Mouse, Keyboard, Scanner, Monitors, etc) and do not think either Damion or Andi know please send them an email listing the item or a form filled out with the relevant information.

Building Access – 3/23/2020

Building Access Restricted as of Monday March 23rd. All exterior doors on campus will be locked 24/7. A vast majority of campus buildings have at least one exterior card access door. Academic building card readers will accept any valid (current) Faculty/Staff ID card for entry. Non-academic buildings should rely on current access lists. Note- existing access lists and schedules will not be affected- only the addition of Faculty/Staff during business hours will be added.
