Select a priority below to learn more about how gifts impact the college and Volunteer Nurses.
Endowments have long-term impact by providing annual support, in perpetuity. Endowment gifts can be designated for specific funding priorities, such as student scholarships or faculty research, or they can be unrestricted to use as a resource for the college’s current priorities. Please contact Diannah Eagle, Director of Advancement, for more information about endowment opportunities.
The college currently operates from a 41-year-old building housing more than 920 students and 133 faculty and staff members. Classroom and laboratory space is at a premium and there is no space for student interaction. These challenges have opened the door for opportunity with plans for a major expansion. The proposed state-of-the-art building renovation will increase the college’s space from 42,000 to 100,000 square feet and will feature enhanced simulation labs, dynamic classroom environments, and student collaboration areas.
Annual gifts to the College Fund for Nursing sustain the college and support our mission. Gifts of any size, every year provide immediate, unrestricted resources to the address current needs.
Dean’s Circle donors provide annual support used by the dean to address top, strategic priorities. College of Nursing alumni and friends contributing $1,000 or more within the fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) will be recognized as members of the Dean’s Circle in Volunteer Nurse magazine.
Last year, through the generosity of alumni and friends, the College of Nursing awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships. Scholarship support opens a door of opportunity to tomorrow’s Volunteer Nurse and we need more nurses!
