Biography

Dr. Malone earned an MSN with an education certificate and Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner credential from Saint Louis University, a Post Graduate Certificate and Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner credential from Vanderbilt University, and a DNP from Chamberlain University. She is certified as a Primary and an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Malone teaches in the Primary Care and Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner concentrations and in the DNP program at the University of Tennessee, College of Nursing. Her areas of clinical and research interests are in the areas of the care of critically ill children along with teaching modalities in graduate nursing education.

Additionally, Dr. Malone is a reviewer for SAGE Open Nursing. She is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the St. Louis Chapter of NAPNAP.
