Biography
Dr. Beebe received her BSN from Marshall University, her MS and Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Beebe teaches in the doctoral programs at the University of Tennessee College of Nursing. She is an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the International Society of Psychiatric Nurses, and a Fellow in the Academy. Her research (funded by NIH, HRSA and AHRQ) are improving physical and mental health for community-dwelling persons with schizophrenia, and programs to enhance student learning of the provision of team-based care to this vulnerable group.
Dr. Beebe is a two-time past president of the Tennessee chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
