Biography
Jim Alberding is an Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee, College of Nursing. He received his DNP from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He has a passion for student mentorship in public policy and advocacy. On the state level, he has served as the Tennessee Association of Nurse Anesthetist (TANA) President, Federal Political Director, Government Relations Chair, PAC Chair, DEI task force member, and on the Board of Directors. Nationally, he has served on the NBCRNA Self-Evaluation Examination (SEE) subcommittee and as the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) Foundation State Advocate. Most recently, he was recognized as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology.
