Nurses Week Greetings from Dean Niederhauser

It is a distinct honor to send National Nurses Week wishes to more than 5,000 UT nursing alumni all over the world! I would also like to recognize our 76 fac

Dean Victoria Niederhauser

ulty members and 766 current students, 110 of which will walk across the stage at commencement on Saturday!  I know that in big and small ways, by your words and actions, you make a Volunteer Difference in the lives of those you touch. You inspire. You innovate. You influence.

The roles and responsibilities of nurses in today’s complex health care environment are expanding. Whether you are administering patients’ medications or conducting cutting-edge research and developing ways to improve health, I admire the hard work and dedication of all of our alumni.

Join me in the celebration this National Nurses Week by honoring fellow nurses that have touched your life. I encourage you to extend a big orange thank you to a nurse on our Facebook page during National Nurses Week.

Lastly, please help us honor you by sharing your story and accomplishments with us. We would love to know why you became a nurse and what you love about what you do. Submit your story online by May 12 for a chance to win a College of Nursing swag bag!
