Alumni & Friends
The strength of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville College of Nursing lies in the hands, hearts, and minds of compassionate caregivers. The UTK College of Nursing prepares students to meet caregiving challenges in healthcare. Together, with your support, we will achieve new levels of excellence as we prepare our graduates to be competitive and compassionate in a rapidly changing world.
The University of Tennessee, Knoxville College of Nursing is grateful for the support of our alumni who are our most important asset and the greatest source of our strength. Your continued connection with other UTK College of Nursing alumni, faculty, staff and current students only works to strengthen our mission and vision. We ask that you increase your involvement in the UTK College of Nursing community by organizing an alumni event in your area and by making a gift to the college. Your financial support, now more than ever, is vital to the strength and progr ession of our program.
We depend upon our friends who donate their time and resources to help our college strengthen its programs and activities. Donations from alumni and friends help the College provide scholarship money to deserving students, acquire and maintain state-of-the-art equipment and technology for instructional purposes, seed research projects for young investigators and to provide research awards for accomplished faculty and students. Without your vital support, we could not advance our efforts to change the face of nursing. Each gift improves the lives of people we touch.
When you make a charitable investment in the College of Nursing, you are investing in the future of nursing and healthcare delivery through our teaching, research, and practice. With the support of our alumni and friends, the College of Nursing will be able to meet our goals of being the college of choice for professional nursing education in Tennessee, and to be a nationally recognized academic center.
The Office of Development will gladly assist you in making a donation to the College of Nursing. Although many donors give cash, some find it more convenient to contribute gifts of securities or other appreciated assets. Many benefactors choose to support the College through estate gifts such as bequests in wills or trust agreements coordinated with university representatives.
THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING THE COLLEGE OF NURSING IN YOUR CHARITABLE GIFT PLANS
